Even for me, it's not easy to understand and digest what's being written on the nutrition label of the foods or drinks we buy. Anyway, I got an email from a friend yesterday, a very clear 'visual' of how many sugar we might be consuming if we wrongly choose what goes through our mouth. Not that I can verify the originality or the source or whether these images are valid and accurate, but nevertheless, I just want to share with you all.

Sharing is caring and scary! Yg kiub putih2 tu ketupat adabi ke? :D
wow, no wonder I eat alot of ketupat whenever I have it with coke. They're so nicely arranged.
p/s - thanks diket, I'm having hard time guessing what the white cubes are.
Yeah, those white cubes are ketupat GULA. :)
kiub kiub yang cute tapi akan menjadi tidak cute if it not burns in time...:)
there goes my favorite coffee..
Yes, you are right Shaqi.
I've started reducing sugar intake in drinks, and i hope one day i can be fully taking sugar-free drinks, the real real punya sugar-free.
100+ pun i've started to slowly reduce, because of the acidity (it's a carbonated drinks), now i'm switching to Gatorade more.
but the sugar content in fruits are the 'good' sugar isn't it? if im not mistaken there are bad sugar and good sugar, and sugar in fruits are good sugar... of course if you melantak satu tong anggur mmg tak healthy la
Nadia,
I think the answer to that is, those chemically processed sugar is not as same as natural sugar that we can get from fruits.
P/s: Jangan la melantak anggur sorang2, share la sikit dgn kawan2... :)
Mak aii..Cinabon yg secoet ( kecik) tu pun contains 14 ketui gula.
Ish..ish..ish..
Patutla tokey gula kaya.
aku minum air kosong je.. hehe..
eh, 100 plus berapa biji gula?
Aini,
Ye, air kosonglah kadang2 yg terbaeeekkkk...
100 plus ada ber-plus-plus biji gula.
Ya..kalau di beri sekiub gula tu kpd seekor semut, dia akan mati akibat diabetes.
Guys..although i am a sweetguy, if possible stay away from sugar.:)
Thanks Nik, very useful info. I think i read somewhere that the newspaper says that we only need 7 spoons of sugar daily, so the minute we drink a can of coke, thats out of the window i guess. The richest man in malaysia is the tokey gula, Robert Kwok. I can see why now.
gud stuff !
